This is my third entry for the https://grabcad.com/challenges/portable-stand-up-paddle-board-challenge which had an 11' entry position before the updates. This design features a six piece connection with a 'dovetail' joining the individual bodies, a dual skeg for tracking, and a foam riding surface. I designed a sub-structure within the walls of the board to reinforce the outer shell and to keep the weight down to a minimum; use the 3D viewer to see more. Made from PE high density plastic, the six pieces combined to make this eleven foot board, only weigh in at 27.72 pounds! Not too shabby. Working on a mechanism to safety-lock the pieces together other than the weight of the rider and the sticky rider foam. Thanks for looking!
