This SolidWorks model presents the revised installation and arrangement of the 1st course plate for an industrial storage tank project. The design was revised with consideration of API 653 requirements, installation sequence, weld intersection control, fabrication, and transportation requirements. Key Design Revisions: The 1st course plate installation layout was revised in accordance with API 653 requirements. The bottom plate arrangement was rotated by 158° to facilitate bottom plate installation and assembly. The 1st course plate was revised to allow better control and verification of weld intersections. The 1st course plates, originally 12 meters in length, were divided into 6 meter sections to facilitate transportation, handling, lifting, and site installation. The complete arrangement was designed and modeled in SolidWorks. The model is fully editable and can be revised according to project specific dimensions and requirements. The 3D model can be used for fabrication planning, installation sequencing, dimensional verification, and engineering documentation.
