The Electrafé concept is an electrically powered vehicle designed for 2040. It's traditional cafe aesthetics are inspired by the cafe racer bikes, which date back to the 1960's. The fairings on the bike are reminiscent of today’s models, however, with its in-hub electric powertrain; the fairings simply create space for the batteries along with plenty of rider storage. Located on the top of the faring, is a digital interface, which would be heavily integrated with the rider's smartphone. This allows the rider to stay current on real time data/information while still using the bike in a safe and more efficient manner. The future-retro theme combined with an environmentally conscious power plant creates a unique vehicle able to span multiple decades. Possibilities for Printing Optimization. The Wheels of the bike would be printed separately with the sides of the wheels flat on the build platform (rear swing are included) The rest of the bike could be printed upright using supports or split in two halves, with the flat sides on the build platform. The bike might also be printed in one shot with rafts and supports.
