I am introducing a device designed for spearfishermen. I designed it and conducted field tests, utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems to calculate hydrodynamic flow characteristics. The valve is easy to clear and prevents water from entering the snorkel thanks to a special design (a water trap)—a feature particularly important when swimming in cold water. Small openings at the bottom of the valve protect the internal mechanism from debris and foreign particles. The device is designed for snorkels with an outer diameter of 25 mm, ensuring a tight, secure fit. No additional mounting hardware is required; the design is simple, compact, and free of fragile parts. Its streamlined shape allows it to move easily through seaweed and silt without snagging on obstacles. A bright, battery-operated light beacon is located at the top of the valve, increasing the spearfisherman's visibility at night.
