3 Way Hifi Speaker System · 模型 41252
PLEASE REFER TO DRAWING AND PDF OF MBOM FOR ASSEMBLY AND PURCHASING. IF YOU'RE BUILDING THIS IT IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT YOU READ THOSE TWO DOCUMENTS FIRST. A custom designed 3 way high fidelity speaker system using a custom designed and simulated 3d printed wave guide on a compression driver, 6.5 inch midrange woofer, and 12 inch subwoofer. This is intended to be used in a larger listening area indoors, and does sound amazing especially with an EQ to pump more power out of the tweeter and subwoofer. For a more optimal performance I would recommend switching the crossover from a 150hz low pass to around a 250hz one, and less attenuation on the tweeter. This can be made all out of one 4x8 sheet of 3/4" mdf on a cnc router (if you don't have one contact your local cabinet/sign/furniture maker, they probably have one and will cut this out for you). The front radius can be cut rough by step downs for ease, but not necessary as you can sand this in my hand or use a router and radius bit. All other pieces were printed out of ABS so they could be vapor smoothed and easily glued together with abs solvent. All said and done, speakers alone (no amps, sources, or painting/cutting) are just under 1000$ for a pair and sound better than systems I've heard that cost tens of thousands. The waveguide designed to have a very accurate and flat dispersion pattern at a very wide horizontal angle and medium wide vertical angle. -- EDIT -- use these in the crossover instead of the 8 mh inductors: https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-IC187-7.0mH-18-AWG-Laminated-Iron-Core-Inductor-257-674
