I needed a 30mm Cutter to rough out a 38mm wide slot through a job. I couldn't find a 30mm cutter for a reasonable price in Australia, so I designed and made my own. Turning was done on my manual lathe and the insert clearance and seats were machined on my whimpy Syil S3 CNC Mill. I mounted the turned stock in a 5C Collet block to index the 2 insert positions. Drawings are included but you will need a CNC mill to machine the complex angles for the insert seats.
