3D Model: Vaseline Bottle | Realistic CAD Design · 模型 27337
I’m thrilled to share with the community my latest project: a 3D model of a Vaseline bottle, meticulously designed and modeled using SolidWorks! This project not only challenged my technical skills but also helped me improve my knowledge of product packaging design and consumer goods engineering. Design Process & Features: The process of designing this bottle was both challenging and rewarding. Here’s an overview of the steps I followed: 🔹 Accurate Modeling: The first step involved capturing the precise dimensions of the Vaseline bottle to ensure that it is accurate to scale. This required careful measurement and attention to detail to replicate the exact curves and shape that make the bottle recognizable. 🔹 Cap Design & Ergonomics: The cap was a key part of the design, as it not only serves a functional purpose but also contributes to the overall aesthetic. I focused on ensuring the cap is easy to grip and open, simulating real-world handling scenarios for user-friendliness. 🔹 Material & Texture Simulation: In this project, I used material properties to simulate the texture of the plastic bottle and cap, ensuring that the finished model has realistic visuals. This includes a glossy finish on the bottle and a matte texture for the cap. Through realistic rendering in SolidWorks, I aimed to closely mimic how light interacts with these materials in real life. 🔹 Functional Design: Apart from aesthetics, I also paid attention to the bottle’s structural integrity under real-world conditions. Using simulation tools, I tested how the bottle would hold up to typical use, including pressure from hand-grip and possible drops, ensuring that the design would be practical for mass production. 🔹 Branding and Labeling: The bottle design also includes the labeling area, where I focused on brand integration and packaging aesthetics, providing a space for product information. While the model doesn’t include real branding, it’s designed to fit branding elements for a seamless look. 🔧 Key Highlights: Realistic Dimensions & Details: Ensuring accurate proportions of the bottle, cap, and labeling area. Material Simulation: Applying plastic textures to enhance realism. Ergonomic Features: Designing for easy handling and user experience. Structural Simulation: Testing for durability and strength in real-world conditions. This 3D model can serve as an excellent reference for designers, engineers, and manufacturers who are involved in consumer product packaging.
