This model is a fixed 10-degree angled wall mounting plate designed for standard 5.8GHz microwave Doppler radar motion sensors (AC 85–250V type). The compatible module can be found on AliExpress under the name “5.8GHz Microwave Radar Sensor Switch Body Motion Detector.” The 10° inclination mechanically shifts the primary detection axis downward, improving motion alignment when installed high on walls in corridors, garages, staircases, and automation environments. Microwave radar sensors typically have a quasi-hemispherical detection pattern; this mount does not alter the RF radiation pattern but reorients the antenna axis to better target pedestrian traffic zones. At an installation height of approximately 2.5 m, the 10° tilt shifts the main detection axis about 0.4–0.5 m forward compared to a horizontal mount. For assembly, the four lateral holes shown in “5p8GHz_WallMount_10deg_RearView” are intended for self-tapping screws to secure the module to the plate. Screws must be long enough to lock the module without excessive penetration into the electronics area. Avoid overtightening. Before installation, the original side fixation tabs of the module must be removed (see “5p8GHz_Module_IsoView_02”), as they interfere with the wall-mount screw path. Tabs may be trimmed using sharp pliers, a precision cutter, or a small hand saw. Care must be taken not to damage the PCB or internal antenna. After trimming, the module seats properly, allowing the main screws to secure the entire assembly to the wall housing. This design is intended for AC 85–250V radar modules. Proper insulation clearance must be maintained. The model does not include RF shielding; additional metallic shielding is required if directional limitation is desired. Recommended printing material: ABS or ASA. Suggested settings: 0.2 mm layer height, 40–60% infill, and at least four perimeters. Sensor electronics are not included.
