6 Million Member Trophy A design of a trophy, with a very symbolic character. A name for this trophy could be »United Hexagons« My idea behind this design: 1. Point: The general consideration was, that a hexagon nut/profile has 6 wrench flats. Each wrench flat represents 1 Million members, so that 1 hexagonal nut represents 6 Million members. 2. Point: The horizontal placed hexagon profile symbolized the "GrabCAD-Community" as a boat with 6 nuts inside, whereby each nut represents 1 Million members. 3. Point: The 10 other nuts are the supporting structure for keeping the "boat above water". Here represents 1 nut 600'000 members, so that 10 times 600'000 = 6 Millions. 4. Point: The socket is a hexagon profile, whereby each "wrench flat" represents 1 Million members too. Whether this "Mathematical Design" is 3D-printable, I don't know - but I hope that it's feasible. A variety of further colour combinations are surely conceivable. I used the colours of U.S.A.'s national flag. My method of designing this model: I created seperate parts/components and merged them together to a pre-defined base part/component in an assembly (.asm.1). The result is one model (.prt.1), as you can see in my screen shots. Likes and comments (critical comments too) are much appreciated. The model is available in following data formats: STEP-file (.stp), STL-file (.stl), OBJ-file (.obj) and all native files (.prt) and (.asm), in a (.7z)-folder, for useres of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«
