Acoplamiento de conexión y desconexión criogénica regulador de caudal · 模型 101316
This work arose within the framework of the subject "Synthesis of Mechanisms and Machines" of the Mechanical Engineering degree at the National University of Rosario, as part of the challenge "Low Leakage Cryogenic Disconnects for Fuel Transfer and Long-Term Storage" proposed by NASA. The proposal made arises as part of a divergent convergent creative process (PCDC) that involves the analysis of each of the proposals made to give rise to an alternative that proposes something different using concepts or ideas raised as a springboard. My idea specifically consists of a mechanism that is composed of two parts, a supplying and a receiving part. Of these, the supplying part has a mechanism that allows regulating the flow of fluid and controlling the overpressures produced in the connection area, reducing the possibility of leaks. In addition, the geometry produces a Venturi effect that seeks to accompany this pressure control that is carried out with the regulator. As seals, it is proposed to use Teflon due to the wide range of temperatures covered with a material that is easily obtained on the market. I would like to thank each participant in this challenge for allowing me to learn, and especially Alex Osorio and Marcelo Valderrey, whose solutions inspired this new proposal.
