Connects five 3M disc filters to each of the two ports of a 3M 6000 series mask. Reduces breathing resistance and increases air flow by using 5x larger surface area of the filter. This is helpful if you have to do intense work or have to exercise in a facemask. Tested in a half-marathon run on a hilly off-road terrain. Weight of whole assembly printed using Shapeways cheap plastic is about 120 grams. Coat with laminating epoxy to reduce particle shedding. One can also use a 6-way PVC pipe connector, but the 3D printed version is much more compact and lightweight. The default configuration has one female adapter and five male adapters. As always, you also need silicone gaskets which either can be obtained from 3M, or made from a 2mm thick Shore 30 FDA-grade silicone sheet, using a hole punch.
