A reverse engineering of an existing product, made by "tesafilm". The original manufacturing method is an injection moulding process. I changed the film hinge to a standard hinge, for a possible 3D printing of the housing halves. Notes: /!\ The one-sided ADHESIVE BAND on the REEL is modeled as a "Dummy", because a band with a thickness of 0.025 mm - whereby the windings are spirally lying on top of each other - is not possible to create. /!\ Have a look at the renderings of the band from the application »KeyShot«, which shows a possibility to create a more realistic rendering. /!\ A formula for creating a spiral by using a curve is shown in some screen shots. /!\ Draft angles of the plastic components are not modeled. The assembly of the model is available as a STEP file (.stp) All plastic components are available as STL files (.stl) too.
