Designed for my junior design project. The engine was based off of a Elmer's steam engine. After the machining and assembly process, the engine was attached to a dyno and tested. With an inlet air pressure of 50 psig the engine crankshaft turned at 1140 rpm and produced 5.187 W of electric power. In another test, the engine was pushed further to get a better understanding of what the top end characteristics were. With no load applied, the engine was able to spin up to 2400 rpm.
