Design and assembly of Airbus A380-800 fuselage with stabilizers using SOLIDWORKS 2018 student edition. Please note that: 1. The CAD file does not contain wing and landing gear. You can use this CAD file for the wing and landing gear assembly. 2. The dimensions may not be perfect. The sketches have been drawn by making use of sketching picture command in Solidworks. 3. The inside of the fuselage is empty. The body has been created through lofted base command. There were some errors while using the surface command. 4. The rudder and elevators are fixed. The pivot point has been made which will allow the motion of rudder and elevators by +-30 degrees. However, the control surfaces don't remain in the plane. The other side of the control surface which is not connected to the pivot goes out of the plane. So, in order to fix this issue, I have fixed rudder and elevators in their same respective planes. While trying to simulate the motion of the control surfaces, you can add another pivot point on the other side of the control surfaces. This will prevent these surfaces from moving out of their planes. Follow me for more interesting projects.
