A quick drilling guide for 1/2" wide copper bar stock to create circuit breaker bus bars with 3/4" spacing on aircraft instrument panels. Any thickness of 1/2" wide bar stock can be used. This printed guide is designed to use split pins as a cheap drill bushing. These: 18-8 Stainless Steel Slotted Spring Pin 5mm Diameter, 16mm Long (McMaster Part# 91610A605) -will fit a #30 drill bit. Our shop picked up an assortment from Harbor Freight that had several that also fit. Just press with vice (or an arbor press if you, y'know, have the correct tools.) The guide is intended to be used to drill one hole, put in a screw or drill bit to hold the bar, then continue drilling the chain. This can be used to quickly manufacture bus bars of any length. Impress your friends! I call it "The Drill Twinkie", and nobody can stop me.
