This is a model of a Amphenol mini-UHF 2.5 GHz (L-Band) Right Angle PCB Socket Connector for very low loss LMR-240 (0.240" diameter) and ordinary RG-8X coaxial cables. This connector is a 'socket' meaning that it has a female pin and is stationary, unlike a jack which is typically movable. A SO-239 UHF connector is only good to 50 MHz and this connector is good to 2.5 GHz so it has 50x the bandwidth. Smaller connectors cannot use large diameter low loss coaxial cables, so this connector bridges that gap.
