This is a 1/4 scale model of the Anzani 3 cylinder Fan engine which powered Louis Bleriot's aircraft in 1909 when he was the first to fly across the English Channel. This model was constructed from plans by Ken Rector to whom I am indebted and extremely grateful to for his assistance in creating this solid model from his 2D plans. Ken's build log can be found on the HMEM site. I am still considering whether to attempt to build this for real. 17/03/2024 : Added a more authentic cylinder assy as an optional file. This has not been added to the main assembly.
