Aquila C2 Custom Dragon UHF Printhead Assembly · 模型 98804
I designed and built a custom printhead assembly for my Voxelab Aquila C2, consisting of the following components: - A Phaetus Dragon UHF hotend for high-flow printing - A 5015 blower fan for part cooling - A 4010 axial fan for hotend cooling - A BLTouch probe for automatic bed levelling - A direct-drive extruder system consisting of a Bondtech BMG extruder and a NEMA 17 42-25 stepper motor In the SolidWorks assembly, the components coloured green are the parts that need to be 3D-printed. These are the parts that I designed to hold all the hardware together within the printhead assembly. The remaining components are the hardware for the printhead assembly, which I downloaded from GrabCAD. At the current stage in the design process, I have 3D-printed the parts that need to be 3D-printed, and have assembled all the components into a functional printhead assembly. The next step is to wire the hardware to the SKR Mini and then test the performance of the printhead assembly on my Aquila C2. I may make changes to the design based on the IRL testing.
