Taller battery retainer latch for the Arrma Grom series of RC cars I picked up an Arrma Gorgon Grom (or 2, or 3...) from the HobbyTown sale. Hard to beat for $99. But the Spektrum 2S 1400 mAh battery that came with it rarely lasted a full 20 minutes. So, I found that Ovonic makes a 3200 mAh battery that fits just fine, but its a little taller. So, I designed this battery retainer with a taller arm on it to hold in the taller battery. I only did the front battery retainer arm because in mine, i just routed the wires under the rear retainer and it holds it all down just fine. If you want a front arm too, just mirror the part in your slicer and print a mirror imaged part. This part is designed to use the same screw that the original arm used. No need for a longer screw. It is designed to be printed in the orientation shown. I included STEP file as well, in case you find another battery that works, but is a slightly different height and you want to adjust the model.
