The concept consists of an arrow that is inserted between two latches. The arrow is located on one of the segments and the latches are on the opposite segment. Both latches have a pivot point and an associated spring that exerts pressure on them to produce the hold. When the two plates approach each other, the arrow will begin to push the latches by sliding and during their entry they will lock due to the shape of the arrow and the action of the springs on the latches. The arrow has a stepped shape since during the approach of the plates, small impacts and vibrations will occur as the latches overcome the steps, this will improve the precision in the positioning of the plates.
