The solution devised by us involved the linear movement of the walls to which the boxes are fixed. So when the user enters the capsule, a space of around 0.6 meters will be created, which will allow the user to reach all the boxes without moving the rest. There will be 3 access positions that can be viewed in the respective “Assembly_Finalíssimo” settings. This linear movement of the walls is ensured by a “screw linear actuator” mechanism present in the “guide+rail 2” assembly. The shaft is not threaded for simplification reasons. The fluidity of the movement is ensured through the use of various bushings and bearings. The selection of materials also helps in this regard, for example the use of bronze in the female thread of the “Filaments” piece. The movement of the filaments ends when they touch the fitting piece using rubber to cushion the impact and reduce wear. For greater safety, not only during the capsule's journey, but also during the handling of the boxes by the astronauts, once the walls are in the resting position, a total of 6 brakes are activated using servomotors ("lockshaft" and "padlock" respectively). Inside the box where the engine is located, we consider a reduction box to be incorporated since the engine's function does not exactly require a high number of rpm, but rather a lot of force. For the structure we used a semi-monocoque type that will be attached to the capsule through several plates that will be riveted. This structure was chosen to guarantee resistance to efforts in various directions. As we consider it a strong fundamental structure, its constituent elements are mostly made of steel. In the capsule, the astronaut passed through at one end, as it facilitates access and reduces wasted storage space, given that the capsule has a cylindrical geometry. The boxes will be secured using two retention systems: 1. Straps whose hook must be attached to the rings of the “Support_Box” parts. The straps will be the main retention method, so they must be able to withstand high efforts. The high number of “Support_Box” pieces will ensure very reliable storage. 2. Velcro directly attaching the box to the wall. There is no need for the velcro to be very strong, this retention method would only be to guarantee the retention of the boxes in reduced gravity environments with the aim that, when removing the straps, the boxes do not move.
