Here is my concept for Articulating Impact Absorbing Shoe Adapters for people with fused feet or ankles. This prototype allows the user to run and jump without needing to pivot the ankle or foot. Bottom plate is on a scissor mechanism with a coil over shock to handle any contact angle while keeping the foot secure. This concept is designed to work with existing boots or shoes that might already be custom fit to the user.
