Made by Amit Ofer Taken from FRC team: Galaxia's (#5897) 2020 robot - "Asteria" The system is designed to draw ~40 amps at 12 volts and can reach speeds of up to 18 km/h at high gear and achieve maximum pushing force at low gear. The drivetrain is an 8 wheel west coast drive with a center drop, Driven by #25 chain. The drive train includes 2 double speed gearboxes, each powered by 2 Falcon 500 motors. The Drivetrain can shift between the 2 different gear ratios with a dog transmission powered by a ½ in stroke pneumatic piston. Gear Ratios: High gear — 9.3:1 Low gear — 19.8:1 Also included in this GrabCAD folder is the prototype I made (5th Picture) before the season to test the effectiveness and our ability to create a Gear-shifting gearbox
