A battery adapter for using AAA-Batteries in a housing, with the outer dimensions of a AA-Battery. Sometimes - if no AA-Batteries are available - I use this adapter for inserting AAA-Batteries, that electrical/ electronic devices can fulfill their function. Note: The sheet straps of the contact plate, for fastening and contacting the compression spring on it, shows some interferences. But the principle should be clear.
