For a large-format CNC router, 4 of these belt drives are required. To prevent the belt from slipping off the pulley, I have installed a pressure roller. The force is not adjustable. I used a spring from a clothespin. The belt is wound up behind the motor—much like a window blind. The spring I used comes from a strap winder. The belts are attached at the corner points within a space or on a large panel. This allows the milling machine to move precisely within that area. The images show only a test setup with the four belt motors, without the milling machine itself.
