Bicycle Cargo Cage- Aluminum · 模型 7433
This cage is meant to be cut out of 1/8" thick 6061 Aluminum. If bending with a finger break, the bottom tab should be bumped to 90 degrees with 4-5 separate bends, because otherwise the 6061 will crack. You can obviously also use a more easily formable grade of aluminum, but 6061 does work well if you are careful. Cage 1.stp is missing some holes, but the angles of the bends are correct for reference CageV3.dxf is accurate to what you see in the photo and seems to work well. Update 3/25/25: Cage has survived over 3000 miles of loaded mountain bike touring.
