Version two entry notes: The method of attachment to the handle bars is sugru; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wh9-4QJ8UG4 Just put some on the inside of the ring on the male ten sided adaptor that fits the handle bar and snap it onto the bar; trim the sugru that extrudes out and let dry over night. The stl file for this project entry includes the male adaptor which is in the cup assembly. Mold as one part using one material. Nylon or ABS any color. The intent is for the adaptor to be used for other things also such as a phone or mirror; whatever.
