I wanted a 3 rotational direction bicycle trailer hinge for long trips so it wouldn't impede leaning my bike while towing a flat trailer so I cobbled this one together one time with a couple pieces of scrap aluminum bar and some 5/16" bolts. I put it together with as much grease as possible and double nutted everything so I could get just the right amount of grip so everything pivoted nicely.
