My concept of bicycle wheel truing stand. Horizontal and vertical legs are made from solid wood. Other materials are aluminum for dropouts and calipers and stainless steel for pivot bolts, nuts and washers. Adjusting knobs are plastic. Unlike Park Tool truing stand where the calipers are separated and engaged by pushing of the adjusting knob, my version includes connected calipers via threaded rod which allows simultaneous movement of calipers thus eliminating misalignment problem. Calipers have clearances for fatbike tyres up to 5" wide and rims up to 4" wide. Same concept with vertical upright legs: they are connected via aluminum brace and rotate together in circular path around pivot axis in opposite directions. Dropouts can be as close as 70 mm and apart 220 mm for wide fatbike hubs. Through axle adapters are simply right size carriage bolts. No cad file right now only concept renderings
