The next generation of 3D printers will be very large. Why? Because they will print the whole house: walls, floors, roofs. 3D printers also will mount wires and pipes, insulate walls and ceilings. Industrial printers (print concrete) are expensive and bulky. Is it possible to create in this area something inexpensive, but functional? Something similar to RepRap (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RepRap_project ) I'll try to start with a single assembly - linear ball bearing. Industrial bearings are expensive and very sensitive to distortions and dirt. Printed bearings do not have high precision and durability. I made a intermediate model, maybe it will be useful for the next generation ‘Big RepRap’.
