This system is a part of the Hot Charge Project, wish allows to connect the CCM to the rolling mill plant by sending the hot billets, thus saving energy.. The model is composed of: - Billet lifting tong : the system is used to handle 4 to 6 billets (750°C). This model has nearly 6.5T weight, is mainly composed of plates S355JR. This model will replace the magnet lifting. This system is in-house design but tested yet. - Entry furnace table : this table allows to stock billets. It is composed of H beams, rails A65 and plates. the model also contains the last part of the furnace skids (Cooling pipes). The table is already existing. - Billet pusher : The system allows to push billets horizontally, over a 1600mm stroke (Only the pushing device represented here). This model is composed of billets 130x130, plates and axis. This model is in-house design and tested. This model is designed using Inventor.
