This bioreactor design is cylindrical with a thickness of 2 mm. The bioreactor has a holder at the bottom which has a stirring magnet to mix the media/organisms so as to get maximum and even mixing results. On the lid of this bioreactor, there are several special ports (compatible with standard luer lock components) for placing sensors that can monitor the development of organisms in the tube. These ports can include PH, temperature, and oxygen sensors. The design allows optimal use of biochemical reactions (liquids) up to 100 mL.
