Black AI Tractor by DR.PAX – Project Description The Black AI Tractor by DR.PAX is one of the most complex and ambitious 3D CAD engineering projects developed in SolidWorks as part of a collaboration with AMD and HP. This next-generation tractor concept was created to showcase the engineering power of modern workstations and processors, and it was officially presented in Houston at 3D Experience World 2025. The project was developed over several months and consists of approximately 7,000 individual components, carefully organized into detailed assemblies and sub-assemblies. Managing a model of this scale required advanced configuration control, large-assembly optimization techniques, and a high level of technical precision. The entire system was designed in SolidWorks using robust parametric modeling workflows to achieve a futuristic, structurally sound, and engineering-driven concept of an AI-enhanced tractor. The model served as a real-world demonstration of the capabilities of AMD Ryzen AI processors and HP ZBook workstations, particularly in handling extremely large and computationally demanding CAD assemblies. During its showcase in Houston, the Black AI Tractor by DR.PAX became a prime visual and engineering example of what modern computational design can achieve when powerful hardware and advanced CAD tools are combined.
