This design is a little different than the usual “box design”. THIS IS THE “TRI-ANGLE” FOR BLACKBOARD. The reader device can be use as stand-alone, handheld or positioned in the docking station. The docking station can be set on a table or can be mounted to a wall. On the back of the docking station there are mounting holes and special slides for use with the wallmounting plate. On the backside and the bottom of the docking station are USB connectors for charging and/or data transfer. When wall mounted you can use the bottom connector for charging and vice versa. The device uses two rechargeable li-ion AA batteries. The batteries are placed behind the cover witch is closed with two screws. Removing the battery cover also reveals the electronic parts. These are held in place with screws. The reader device has three large dual-color LED’s, two on the corners and one in the middle. The corner LED’s can illuminate green or red. - Green for acceptance/OK and red for Denied/error. - The middle LED can show two colors, blue and orange. - Blue is for Bluetooth pairing and orange will blink when battery level gets below 25%. Next to the on/off switch is a small LED that will show if the device is turned on. The docking station has one dual-color led, green for battery full and orange for battery charging. Blinking orange LED means replace battery. On the top of the reader device is a card reader slot. I hope you like this design.
