The car and the steering wheel design,both with an extreme and agressive look,complement one another and mark the real purpose: Break the record! The steering wheel was designed to improve grip and comfort for driving precision.It features a magnesium structure with rubberized grip molded over it.Very anatomical handgrip offering the best grip while driving,featuring sculpted thumb and palm areas. Open upper part facilitates viewing the instrumentation and also reduces excess weight. The steering wheel also features contrasting colour combination with orange and gray details,including the 2 orange buttons to set brake chutes (main and backup),2 gray buttons,one for the air brake and the other for the radio and 2 triggers to light up and increase power of the rocket and to shut the rocket down. Finally,The britain's flag gives to the steering wheel its unique stylish look,aligned with the exterior livery,a confident look which really captures the effort the whole team has put into developing the Bloodhound SSC.
