BlueBoard – Open Modular Fixation Platform Created by PapaGolf · 2026 1. Purpose BlueBoard is an open modular fixation platform developed to support people who use only one hand for everyday activities. The system provides a configurable mechanical platform onto which different assistive modules can be positioned, removed and recombined according to the user's individual requirements. The BlueBoard concept is based on an open mechanical interface rather than a fixed collection of proprietary accessories. 2. Design Philosophy BlueBoard follows four fundamental principles: - OPEN The interface is openly documented so that anyone can develop compatible hardware. - MODULAR Modules can be freely positioned and combined across the honeycomb grid. - ONE-HANDED The system is designed around simple insertion, removal and repositioning using one hand. - COMMUNITY-DRIVEN Users and designers are encouraged to create, modify and share new modules.
