BlueStar is Eastern Edge Robotics' 2026 ROV, which led us to winning the MATE ROV International Competition in 2026! Eastern Edge is a student design team that competes in the MATE ROV competition every June. This year, I was the Mechanical Team Lead. I led a team of 6 as we designed BlueStar's chassis, propulsion subsystem, waterproof electronics enclosure, and buoyancy and ballast. BlueStar was tested tested for over 200 hours, leading to a Product Demonstration Score of 380/395, which was the best score in the world!
