Boot Mounted Snowboard Support · 模型 20616
This invention is used for protecting a snowboard boot from getting scuffed and ripped by the sharp edges on the side of a snowboard. Before getting on a chairlift a snowboarder has to unstrap one boot to make it easiest to maneuver through the chairlift lines and onto the chairlift. While on the chairlift one foot is free from the snowboard and hangs off the side while the other foot is connected to the snowboard and hangs off the side of the chairlift which can cause strains because of the weight of the snowboard. To resist the straining snowboarders will rest the snowboard on the top of the boot with the free leg and this is when the boot will get cut and be scuffed by the sharp edge of the snowboard. To fix this problem I created a invention that connects to the free snowboard boot and can hold the snowboard on the boot without the snowboard cutting the boot. My invention is called the Boot Mounted Snowboard Guard because it is mounted to the front of the boot and supports the weight of a snowboard. It connects to the toe of the boot and has a hook at the end that the snowboard can fit in and not fall off. This allows the weight of the snowboard to be equalized between both legs and keeps your one leg from getting strained. The Boot Mounted Snowboard Guard keeps the sharp edges of the snowboard away from the soft boot material so it can not be cut. My invention is made of a hard plastic with rubber on top so the snowboard has more traction on the snowboard support and the snowboard will not slip off.
