Boston Bruins Bear Logo, laser etch. This is my first laser etch to make sheet metal work with hard laser etching (this uses oxygen) as it burns better than nitrogen. The oxygen actually burns creating an oxidation that stands out nicely... The bear and logo took about 3 mins to burn and etch but opens up a whole new process to me for nice new laser projects. I've always been able to etch but never like this. I used the outlines to power trim an array of lines at 0.005" spacing. I need to work on the laser power settings but off to a good start...
