CAD file of Breaking All Illusions. This rocket was launched at BALLS on September 21, 2025. The rocket reached a maximum velocity of 1355m/s and a maximum GNSS altitude of 21064m MSL. The nosecone is a custom 3mm compression molded S2-glass and Novolac epoxy resine, coated in 1mm of epoxy/cork based ablative. Primary flight computer: AIM XTRA 4.1 Secondary flight computer: StratoLoggerCF The rocket had two downlooking Runcam Split 4 V2 powered by a custom board for remote control. The fincan is similar to the one on my previous rocket Gas Gas Gas https://grabcad.com/library/gas-gas-gas-mach-3-experimental-rocket-1. Flight outcome: While the up part was perfect, both primary and backup apogee charge did not fire due to user error and electronical issue. The primary main parachute charge separated the nosecone at 270m/s at an altitude of 800m AGL. The nosecone was recovered intact while the motor section and its cameras ended up in the playa.
