BRUNHO LAOS DRAGON, SHEET METAL DRAGON · 模型 146530
My tribute to a coworker Brunho (one of our amazing deburrers) that I have been lucky enough to work with the last 6 years. A couple of years ago he brought in a couple of wooden Dragon's that he'd had from his homeland Laos. I took a bunch of pics but had no idea what to do with it. The week before Christmas he announced he's retiring at 75(ish). The time frame for design was tiny let alone program for laser, cut the parts, deburr them (tough to get around on that one), assemble and weld. I decided to make the unit a series of subassemblies so to make the parts vaguely non contiguous(see the pdf showing assembly). about half way through he realized what he was deburring them. We had him bring the sub assemblies to welding so that helped involve him in making the critter. Once he realized parts would go back for a little more detail. Although not truly my work, I was glad to transform https://grabcad.com/trinityscsp 's dragon into my view of Brunho's wooden Dragon... Construction consists of 6 sub-assemblies, 147 parts, 36 unique. I cleaned up the geometry converted the cuts to splines (decreasing cut size file by 90% and much more fluent with complete customization of each piece). Thank you Trinityscsp!
