TOKIN D-08C2 is a common mode choke (filter) with quad-filar winding (all four 17,4 µH) on a toroid ferrite core, mounted on an 8-pin base. On the C128 (L5 on motherboard), only 3 windings are used, with 2 pins cut away, thus making it a 6 pin device. The D-08C2 is also used on the C64 motherboard 250469 (refdes L1) and also on the Plus/4 motherboard 250455. I am not sure if it is used with 2 pins cut off (like on the C128) on these motherboards.
