This is a pretty simple design for a 4 inch diameter can. My dog needed more fiber in her diet and the vet recommended pumpkin puree. So my wife and I have been buying these cans and putting cling wrap on top, but that wasn't holding on very well. It wasn't really holding on at all if I'm honest. So I made a simple design for a 3D printed lid that press fits onto the can. The inner diameter is 4.010 inches. That was because I know my printer prints material a little wider. So my final product is about .020 inches under 4 inches. Depending on your own printer, you may want to shrink or grow the model. I have two versions because I drew a paw on top of the one I made for myself, but it was easy to save first without it. So now you get to choose. My final print was also printed with 20% infill on an Ender 3 Pro using PLA. It works well and if the can is slipping out too much then I've found that bending it will easily make it a snug fit again. Enjoy!
