A bracket that fits around the shape of the camera (while leaving space for the tripod screw to still be attached). The shutter mechanism consists of 2mm carbon rods bonded/glued into a set of brackets that act as a slider. From what I could find the shutter has a 1.5mm stroke, so I worked around this. To keep the shutter in place, there's a slotted section where an M3 screw can be used either directly or by means of a heated insert. Once tested, I will share pictures of the mechanism and rate the functionality therof. I do have to find a way to secure the backside of the camera, maybe by means of a secondary frame bracket. I will keep updating the design as I go.
