This entry is a continuation of my first entry and is submitted separately to simplify file transfer etc. The proportions are meant to be adjustable to arrive at a portrait or landscape version of the golden rectangle. components are symmetrical around the y axis and need not be; for instance the usb ports could be moved down and to the back, the cord entrance side, and the speakers moved down to allow moving the top surface down for a landscape profile or for a portrait view the ends can be moved closer to center in addition to adjusting the top surface up or down. The electrical source is ac and this need not be of course, but being a senior citizen I chose it; it does require double insulation; changing this would simplify things. mounting the components could be from brackets attached to the top inside surface or the base or a combination. A 3d printed plastic bracket that holds everything in place and is screwed to the top inside surface or the base plate might be a good option. In particular the lightning connectors might have to slide or pivot to allow both the iphone 5 and 6 to fit; there are many ways to solve this; a printed bracket with flex among them. The base could be inside the housing or outside as shown; if it is as shown; the means of holding it in alignment was not dealt with yet.
