An equation-based underwater thruster development project exploring a compact rotor, nozzle, motor-core and stationary tail-fairing arrangement. The A3 uses publicly available Blue Robotics T200 motor/core CAD as a packaging reference, while the blade surfaces, nozzle, adapter and tail fairing were developed independently around that reference. This is not an official Blue Robotics product and should not be considered a verified drop-in replacement or performance upgrade. **Rotor — three NACA-derived blades** The nominal 76.2 mm rotor uses 13 radial stations with prescribed chord, thickness, pitch and skew distributions. Zero-camber NACA 00-series-derived sections are used to create rounded leading edges, finite trailing edges and progressively tapered blade tips. The blade roots are integrated into the hub with buried transitions and approximately 0.7 mm root blends to provide continuous surface connections. The three-blade configuration provides a relatively open and compact baseline geometry. Using fewer blades reduces overall blade area and blockage, while potentially increasing the hydrodynamic loading carried by each individual blade. This arrangement represents a design tradeoff rather than a validated optimum. **Nozzle — modified NACA 0014 thickness distribution** The nozzle is generated from a 60 mm axial profile revolved around the propulsion axis, producing a nominal throat diameter of approximately 77.4 mm and a finite 0.8 mm outlet edge. A 14% thickness distribution was selected as a practical starting point for the radial envelope, wall geometry and mounting structure. The resulting profile provides a mathematically repeatable rounded inlet and tapered outlet. The geometry is not intended to represent a standard Wageningen 19A/37 duct and has not yet been hydrodynamically optimized. The intended water-flow direction is from the motor cable/nose side toward the rotor and stationary tail section, as indicated by the FLOW marking on the assembly. **Stationary tail fairing** The removable tail fairing has an approximately 40 mm base diameter matching the rotor hub and is supported by three elliptical structural members. Each support is approximately 16 × 5.8 mm at midspan. Their primary purpose is structural support and alignment; they should not be interpreted as validated swirl-recovery stators or flow-conditioning vanes. Recessed fasteners are incorporated into the assembly to maintain a compact external profile and simplify disa
