A centrifugal propeller combines principles of centrifugal force and axial flow. In centrifugal pumps or fans, the impeller rotates, accelerating fluid or air outward from the center due to centrifugal force, increasing velocity and pressure. In contrast, a propeller pump or fan moves fluid or air primarily along the axis of rotation, similar to a ship’s propeller, producing high flow rates at relatively low pressure.
