Cesaroni Pro75 1 Grain Hardware · 模型 267295

作者:Daniel Perlin

This includes all of the parts that come with the Cesaroni Pro75 hardware set. The only part that is variable between different grain sizes is the main case tube length. All measured values are accurate to the thousandths of an inch, with several sample measurements taken for each length. This is more accurate than the manufacturing error margin for the parts, therefore the model can be assumed to be a fairly reliable recreation. Notably, the fittings between parts and the o-ring slots can be considered to be accurately dimensioned. Anything involving threads, chamfers, or fillets cannot be considered to be entirely accurate. Below these inaccuracies are described in greater detail. The threading isn't completely exact, since it is using the default threading feature in SolidWorks, but the threads have the correct threads-per-inch (TPI is 16 everywhere) and are based on certain reference values which have been measured. The assembly also includes a mechanical mating for screwed parts. In addition to the threads, none of the chamfers or fillets are completely exact and are instead eyeballed, including the chamfers in the 4 grooves on each retaining ring which are used for the retainer ring wrench (this wrench is also not included in the CAD and does not come with the Cesaroni hardware set). The depth of the grooves are also approximate. While the groove depth (cylindrical-coordinate z-axis) for the forward retaining ring is fairly accurate, it is much more approximate for the rear retaining ring, though this is not functionally critical, unlike the fillet size. A nested folder is included with drawings and useful images and documents found from various sources online. Many of the images, which are titled respectively, show 2-grain case information rather than the 1-grain case, as a result of the 1-grain case being somewhat uncommon. For some reference on the expected margins, when using a phenolic paper tube as an insulation liner for a fuel/propellant grain, the expected O.D. is 2.745", or 5 thousandths of an inch smaller in diameter than the ID of the main case tube, which results in a good snug fit, compared to the 10 thousandths of an inch smaller diameter (2.740") of the nozzle holder and forward closure. A final comment: the SolidWorks 2020 files for the assembly and parts has the material for each part saved as Aluminum 6061-T6. This is not a certainty but an informed guess of the material from basic inspection.
