Challenge: The Fresh Water Fog Nets Collector · 模型 252688

This is my entry to the challenge. As given in the technical details, the nets are vertical to the ground. A degree of freedom along Z-axis was given to the structure to ensure that the panels can follow the changes of the direction of the wind. Every part that is attached to the nets is made of AISI 316 steel, to ensure that no chemicals are transferred to the water. The tanks that collect the water are also made of AISI 316. As it can be seen in the calculations attached each of the 2x1m nets will recieve the maximum force of 916Newton in case of a wind gusp of 70mph. Total surface of nets: 6square meters The problem is that I saw the challenge today and did not have time to add some final details. I hope that you like my design!!!
