Snow Globe — World Landmarks One of my first CAD projects as an undergraduate, built to teach myself the full loop from design to a working object. The gold-toned base — with its layered wave profiles and raised detailing — is my own design, modeled in Fusion 360. Inside sits a small motor-driven train that circles the platform, while the central column houses the rotor axis with a mount reserved for a miniature tree. Beyond the CAD work, this was where I first practiced hands-on electronics: wiring a small motor, powering the rotating mechanism, and getting a designed object to actually move. It taught me how design intent meets physical assembly — the gap between a clean model and a functioning build. The world landmarks arranged on top are not my own models; they were sourced from other creators and integrated into the composition. My work: base design, wave/detail geometry, mechanism layout, motor & wiring integration, overall scene composition. Software: Fusion 360.
